Who We Are
ezpz is a women-owned small business
We create developmentally-focused products that make mealtime less about mess and more about fun. Each product is tailored towards a specific age group and usage occasion, and the mat’s stable base helps baby/toddler to self-feed and meet key developmental milestones. We aspire for family mealtime to be a HAPPY, positive experience where memories are made!
It all started with a mess
Back in 2014, Lindsey and her husband had three boys under the age of three, and they were fed up with the messiness and cleanup time dedicated to each meal. One night (in the midst of his frustration) Lindsey's husband said, “We need a plate the boys can’t tip or toss!” From that day on Lindsey was committed to creating products that made meals with kids ezpz – and that is how the Happy Mat came to be.
Mealtime will never be the same
"Thanks for creating this product. The ezpz Happy Mat changes lives. You have definitely changed ours!" - LeeAnn Meier
Mom, Inventor, Founder
My name is Lindsey Laurain, and I am the founder of ezpz. I’m a wife and working mom to three wonderful, wild boys who serve as my inspiration and my in-home product testers. I never imagined I would leave corporate America and become an entrepreneur, but the journey has been very special (and tiring!). The ezpz community, positivity and my family and team keep me motivated. We are committed to hard work and FUN!
Since our launch on Kickstarter in 2014, we have won numerous awards and accolades.
We continue to revolutionize mealtime by designing a full feeding line to help babies and toddlers learn to safely self-feed.

We want to make mealtime ezpz for all families
Lindsey, ezpz’s founder, is committed to making proper eating techniques and developmental milestones a focus of our company. To assist, she has hired Dawn Winkelmann, M.S., CCC-SLP, as our in-house Feeding Special and Special Needs Program Coordinator. All of our products are tested and approved by Dawn (and other therapists) to ensure that neurotypical children, as well as kids with special needs, can use our products.
“All of the great work I do is (only) made possible by my amazing team. We are like family (with friendships that go back 20+ years!) and we love what we do.”
Lindsey Laurain, ezpz Founder
Lindsey is team ezpz's visionary leader and directs all of our marketing and innovation efforts. She is extremely positive, loves to give more than receive and has an undying drive to achieve her goals! Lindsey is also known for being extremely honest and is always, without apology, herself (which is pretty great!).
Sales & Operations
Tamara (a.k.a., Tam, Tams or "boss") is the boss on team ezpz and keeps everyone "on task." She manages all of ezpz's US retailers + sales reps as well as demand planning. Tam and Lindsey go way back; they played soccer together (since they were 12!) and Tam was one of Lindsey's bridesmaids.
Marketing & Distribution
Christie manages ezpz's marketing as well as our international sales force. Christie is extremely hard-working, organized and even keeled (which is important on a team of intense personalities!). Christie, Lindsey and Tam have been friends for 20+ years and Christie was maid of honor at Lindsey and Brad's wedding.
Cara is the creative lead on team ezpz and is a huge part of ezpz's amazing branding! Cara is known as the "silent killer," she tends to take it all in and then - bam! - out comes an impressive idea or killer graphic. She also laughs at everyone's jokes, which makes us all feel warm and fuzzy inside.
SLP & Feeding Specialist
Dawn, M.S, CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Feeding Specialist with over 20 years of experience treating children with swallowing and feeding disorders. Dawn has a huge heart and is known for her innate ability to coach kids (and parents) that have feeding challenges. Dawn is also team ezpz's mom; she always makes sure that we have healthy snacks and beverages around to keep us going!
Andrea is in charge of ezpz customer support and she keeps our customers (and team ezpz) supremely happy! Andrea is an IBCLC (Lactation Consultant), mom of two and sweetheart through and through; she's a natural match for ezpz and our community.
