Our Story
Phase 1
It all started with a mess
Back in 2014, Lindsey and her husband had three boys under the age of three, and they were fed up with the messiness and cleanup time dedicated to each meal. Lindsey scoured the marketplace to find a plate that the boys couldn’t tip or toss, and she couldn’t find a solution. So, she decided to make it herself. That is how the Happy Mat (the original all-in-one placemat + plate that suctions to the table) came to be!
Phase 2
Feeding products for ages and stages
After tackling messy mealtime with her self-seal technology, Lindsey wanted to address the lack of innovation and safety standards in the feeding space. Lindsey hired an in-house pediatric feeding specialist (Dawn Winkelmann, M.S, CCC-SLP) to help design products for each age and stage of feeding development. As of 2022 ezpz has developed all of the gear needed for each stage: Pre-feeding Tools for infants, Tiny Line for babies, Mini Line for toddlers and Happy Line for preschoolers. We even have ezpz Basics for kiddos 5+!
Phase 3
Expanding outside of feeding
Team ezpz has also expanded the product portfolio outside of feeding. They have created products for clean-up and play, and they have partnered with amazing companies like Care Bears, Sesame Street and Peppa Pig (oh my!). They also created an animal-friendly sister company, Ono.

Mom, Inventor, Founder
My name is Lindsey Laurain, and I am the founder of ezpz. I’m a wife and working mom to three wonderful, wild boys who serve as my inspiration and my in-home product testers. I never imagined I would leave corporate America and become an entrepreneur, but the journey has been very special (but also exhausting). The ezpz community, positivity and my family + team keep me motivated. We are committed to hard work and FUN!

Founder
Lindsey is team ezpz's visionary leader and directs all of our marketing and innovation efforts. She is extremely positive, loves to give more than receive and has an undying drive to achieve her goals! Lindsey is also known for being extremely honest and is always, without apology, herself (which is pretty great!).
Tamara
Sales & Operations
Tamara (a.k.a., Tam, Tams or "boss") is the boss on team ezpz and keeps everyone "on task." She manages demand planning + inventory as well as US sales. Tam and Lindsey go way back; they played soccer together (since they were 12!) and Tam was one of Lindsey's bridesmaids.
Christie
Marketing & Distribution
Christie manages ezpz's marketing as well as our international sales force. Christie is extremely hard-working, organized and even keeled (which is important on a team of intense personalities!). Christie, Lindsey and Tam have been friends for 20+ years and Christie was maid of honor at Lindsey and Brad's wedding.
Cara
Creative & Marketing
Cara is our resident branding wizard. She manages ezpz's creative and marketing and has been on board since the Kickstarter! She’s a total “value add” and her laughter is contagious, which makes us all feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Dawn
Pediatric Feeding Specialist
Dawn, M.S, CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Pediatric Feeding Specialist with almost 30 years of experience helping families start solids safely. Dawn has a huge heart and is known for her innate ability to help kids (and coach parents) that have pediatric feeding disorders (PFD). She also designs our products for each age and stage of feeding development.
Andrea Thompson
Customer Support
Andrea is in charge of ezpz customer support and she keeps our customers (and team ezpz) supremely happy! Andrea is an IBCLC (Lactation Consultant), mom of two and sweetheart through and through; she's a natural match for ezpz and our community.

Allison Foley
Web Developer
Allison is the brainy coder who developed our website. She has worked with ezpz since its beginning. Today, she collaborates with several unique brands across the baby space. One of her greatest joys is helping entrepreneurs and start-ups get their innovative products out into the world.
Lisa Barbour
Financial Advisor
With over 10 years of experience in consulting, private investment, and public accounting, Lisa is passionate about helping business leaders navigate the practical challenges of starting and operating a company. She believes that actionable accounting and operational processes along with the right technology can alleviate many of the uncertainties that owners face and allow them to focus on the true purpose of their business.
Maria Romero
Graphic Designer
Maria’s design goes beyond aesthetics, it also integrates functionality and a person’s wide range of knowledge and abilities. Everything is applicable in an innovative way. She strongly believes we are engineers of creativity, achievers of the impossible and crazy scientists constantly searching for something new to discover.
Olivia Blechschmidt
INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER
Creative problem solver, digital sculptor, visual communicator and experiential storyteller. With an optimistic curiosity and an adventurous spirit, Olivia approaches each design challenge with the goal to rethink and reimagine, while bringing ideas to life through the complex web of manufacturing realities.
Hylah Hedgepeth

As a mama of two, Hylah is constantly inspired to document my babies’ lives and details of our home and adventures– capturing their very own lifestyle photography. As a small business owner, she’s learned personal branding, how to connect with clients, the challenge of generating and sharing fresh content on a consistent basis, the concerns of coming across authentically.
