Baby-led weaning (BLW) is a feeding approach where babies are introduced to solid foods by eating the same foods as the rest of the family. Once baby is ready to start solids, babies feed themselves with a baby-led™ spoon or by picking up soft strips of food with their hands (instead of being spoon-fed purées by an adult).
What is a baby-led handle?
ezpz’s baby-led handle is expertly designed for baby’s tiny hands. This short, fat, round handle supports the development of the palmar grasp (stabilizing an object against their palm while curling their fingers around it) and assists with hand-to-mouth movements. - Is the silicone FDA or LFGB tested/approved?
- Hi there - all ezpz products are made from food-grade silicone that is BPA, BPF, BPS, PVC, lead, cadmium and phthalate free, as well as FDA-approved and CPSC certified.
- Why is it dishwasher safe but not able to be boiled or sterilized? Every other product I have that says it’s good grade silicone can do all of these…
- Due to the thickness of our Tiny items in particular, we don't recommend boiling as they may become misshapen.
- Is it safe to put these in a sterilizer?
- We don't recommend steam or boiling for our items, but UV sterilizers are compatible!
- How much does this spoon contain? I mean tablespoon wise…
- The Tiny Spoon holds approximately 1 teaspoon.
- Where are ezpz spoons and other products manufactured?
